Power Yoga emphasizes strength and flexibility. This class is recommended for those looking for a more demanding workout. Power yoga is faster paced and more challenging than gentle yoga. It proposes a series of powerful postures and is considered to be an intermediate level yoga.
Power yoga is more likely to appeal to those who are already in good physical shape and require a more demanding exercise routine with far less of the chanting and meditation that other yoga classes may display.

Power Yoga is offered at Gold Medal Fitness on Monday evenings at 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday mornings at 10:15 a.m.
